Our Cottages
Comfortable, cosy and superbly equipped...
We have designed our cottages with thought and care to provide the perfect place for you to unwind and have a relaxing, enjoyable and effortless holiday. Our traditional barns have been sensitively converted into delightful, stylish and superbly equipped cottages.
Comfortable, welcoming and warm, our holiday cottages have exposed wooden beams, classic wooden floors, comfy sofas, beds with pocket spring mattresses made up for you on arrival, bathroom towels, flat screen digital TVs, DVD players, and broadband wifi internet access.
All cottages are 4 or 5 star graded with Quality in Tourism for VisitBritain.
Higher Menadew has EnjoyEngland Gold Award - which means "exceptional quality in all areas but in particular in service and hospitality".
All of our cottages have full central heating, cosy log burners (except for Byron) and double-glazing making them perfect for a break any time of year. Outside, the planted areas and patios make the long summer evenings a pleasure.
Kitchens are fully equipped ready to prepare any meal, we even supply environmentally friendly washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, but if you are planning to eat out there are plenty of excellent pubs and restaurants to be found locally and Rick Stein’s or Jamie Oliver’s “Fifteen” are only 30 minutes away.
For families with young children we aim to make your holiday that little bit easier. We can provide a cot, highchair and stair gate and we also have some other items including bed guards, baby baths and black out blinds. There are child friendly tumblers, bowls and plates for meal times.
We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our cottages and we operate a no smoking policy and exclude all pets making our cottages ideal for those with asthma and pet allergies.
