- Higher Menadew Farm Cottages is family run by Andrew and Anita
who have two children Samantha and James
- Our first self catering cottage opened in 1999 and we have
grown gradually so that we now have seven cottages
- We have one chocolate and one black puppy Labrador – Becks
and Archie
- Three generations of Higmans have now lived at Higher Menadew;
Andrew’s parents having moved here in 1944
- Andrew was born and bred at Higher Menadew
- Anita originates from London
- When Andrew’s parents closed their chicken hatchery in
1972, having always had poultry, it was the last in Cornwall
- We feel that we are fortunate to work and live in such a beautiful
county
- Anita’s favourite pastime is as a taxi for the children
- Andrew doesn’t have time for pastimes – I think
he needs a holiday
