At Higher Menadew we have quality holiday cottages with superb facilities to keep everyone happy and occupied including fabulous indoor heated swimming pool, games room and play areas, for an easy and relaxing holiday...

• Swimming Pool
  Our superb indoor heated swimming pool is a huge favourite with all our guests. Heated to 29.5 degrees, our 10m x 5m pool is 4' 2" deep throughout, and has changing and shower facilities. Perfect for that revitalising swim or just for pure indulgence! Each of our holiday cottages has it's own key. For our younger guests we supply arm bands, rings and floats.
  
  Our guests always tell us we have a fantastic swimming pool. But we are always trying to improve, so we have installed UV treatment of the swimming pool water. Without going into the science, this improves the quality of the water and improves your bathing experience! In addition, using UV is environmentally friendly as chlorine in the pool is significantly reduced. Better for you and better for the environment. That's a win win!
  
• WiFi
  Free WiFi internet access is available in every holiday cottage. Great for researching all of Cornwall including the local areas of St Austell, Fowey, Charlestown, Bodmin and Bodmin Moor.
• Games Room
  Our games room has table tennis, table football, air hockey and a dedicated area for our younger guests of 5 and under with a playhouse, play-table and toys.
• Animals
  There’s animal feeding and egg collecting during the main season. Young children and toddlers love to feed the ducks, hens and Ollie and Ozzie the kune kune pigs with Farmer Andrew. Our Labradors, Becks, Archie and Toby are always happy to meet you.
• Grassed Play Area
  Grassed play area for children to play for various fun activities including football, cricket, netball, badminton and volleyball.
• Play Tower
  We have a really solid wooden, play ground standard, play tower with slide, swings, climbing wall and net. There are rubber safety mats all around!
• Trampoline
  Large Trampoline equipped with safety net - funtastic!
• Information Files
  Each cottage has a comprehensive information file. In addition, we have an information area with even more local information and suggestions.
• Books & DVDs
  We have a well stocked book and DVD library that you are welcome to use.
• Bikes
  Adult bikes for hire and one tag-a-long. Cycle to the spectacular Eden Project just 3 3/4 miles away and save money on your entrance fee for arriving in an environmentally friendly manner.
• Beach
  Some wind breaks, bodyboards, buckets and spades for the beach for use on the numerous fabulous beaches in Cornwall.
• Curries & Ice Cream
  Delicious, ready-made, award winning curries and local Cornish ice cream in easy access freezer. Perfect for an easy evening in. Run on honesty box system.
• Tumble Dryer
  Tumble drying facilities are centrally located for use by all the holiday cottages.
