Higher Menadew Farm is perfectly located being in the Cornish countryside
just to the north of St Austell Bay.
Yet we are easy
to get to, being only a few minutes from
the main A30 dual carriageway, which runs down the spine of
Cornwall. Exploring any part of Cornwall from here is simple
and convenient.
But you don’t have to go far! Local attractions include:

By Car…
From the A30 heading west, just after it by-passes Bodmin, take
the exit for St Austell on the A391. Follow the A391 as far as
Lockengate (about 3/4 mile from the A30).
At Lockengate turn left towards Luxulyan. After 3/4 mile turn
right at Ebenezer (by Tulip Foods) sign posted to St Austell. After
further half mile take the first turning on the right.
At the top of the short tarmac lane you will find Higher Menadew
Farm Cottages.

Please do not use AA nor RAC route
planner as you will end up at the wrong location as you will
with some satellite navigation systems as these are not all accurate
e.g. some are not aware of the new layout of the main A30 which
was completed in Summer 2007!
By Train or Coach…
St Austell station is 5 miles from Higher Menadew. For more information

Fly to Newquay Airport about 25 minutes from Higher Menadew ... but please really consider making the journey by train it is more of an adventure and much less stressful!
