Time to relax and enjoy, indulge and refresh, at you own leisurely pace...
Short Breaks
Looking for a short or longer getaway? We are able to offer short breaks at various times of the year. Please check our availability page and do not hesitate to contact us if you require any further information, we will be happy to assist.
Winter and Spring Breaks
Higher Menadew Farm Cottages are ideal for break at any time of the year, perfect for that refreshing getaway. Read the paper or your favourite book, take a revitalising swim in our indoor heated swimming pool, play in our games room. All of our cottages are, of course, fully centrally heated.
The winters are mild and spring comes early to the southern coast of Cornwall due to the warming Gulf Stream. The numerous glorious gardens of Cornwall are the result, bursting into vivid colour in the spring.
The crowds may be gone but there is still plenty to do as more and more attractions are open throughout the winter and spring including The Eden Project, Tate Gallery, National Maritime Museum, Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Geevor Tin Mine.
But what never goes away are the picturesque fishing villages and the magnificent coastline. Enjoy a quiet walk along an empty beach or watch a storm driven Atlantic, which really is an awesome sight.
Shoppers will enjoy the cobbled streets of Truro, which also has The Hall for Cornwall theatre. If you want to eat out, we have a list of recommended pubs and restaurants in the locality or you could even try, for a special occasion or just to simply indulge, one of the fabulous restaurants run by Rick Stein, Nathan Outlaw or Paul Ainsworth.
Escape for a winter or spring break at Higher Menadew and simply unwind.
Please use our live online availability and booking page to easily check short break and longer availability.
